Kool-Aid dye your hair! DIY

A cheap easy way to get streaks in your hair is using Kool-Aid. A friend and I recently dyed a streak of our hair with red Kool-Aid it turned out pretty cool. It has last about a week and a half. Of course it has faded since when we first did it because we have washed our hair. However you can still see it.
The ends of her hair are dyed you can get this look with Kool-Aid
1. First mix two packets of Kool-Aid with 3 cups of water bring to a boil.

2. Pour the boiling Kool-Aid into a coffee cup. be careful don't burn yourself!

3. Select the piece of hair you wish to dye, pin the rest of your hair up so it does not get in the Kool-Aid.
put the hair you're dying in the coffee cup of Kool- Aid.

4. Let the hair soak in the cup for about 5 minutes, you can repeat this to get it darker. Take your hair out and dry with a paper towel.
If you use some type of heat it will stay longer like running a straightener over it (don't do this too much!). When its wet it won't look like its dyed but when your hair is completely dry you will be able to see the color. This works best on light hair like blond, but it worked on dark hair also.
This is dramatic it doesn't have to be like this but you get the idea.
